Sivakumar is a GDC registered specialist in Prosthodontics, qualified from India in 1999 and completed his specialist training in 2002.
He has been heavily involved in teaching postgraduate students alongside his clinical practice both in India and in the UK. Currently, Sivakumar is a Clinical Teacher at the Birmingham Dental Hospital and provides advanced Prosthodontic care in the secondary care setup.
He has completed his Higher Education Teaching programme and is currently completing his PhD in Dental Implant Education.
He regularly attends national and international conferences and training to keep updated with recent concepts and techniques.
